StrongTech is an SBA certified small business and specializes in the deployment of software applications and complimentary services to manage, identify, locate and report on all types of assets  for DoD and federal agencies. The Company’s proprietary solutions are delivered as a hosted (SaaS) service or client server and include the following modules:

StrongTech’s software solutions were developed in response to the increasing need for scalable and robust asset management applications. The Company delivers powerful yet easy to use applications that: help ensure regulatory and financial compliance, provide an auditable trail of all asset data from purchase to disposal, provide robust reporting solutions, and enable command to achieve much larger returns on assets. StrongTech applications help provide a positive return on investment on all assets by: containing costs, managing maintenance, providing time-saving tools to staff, and delivering valuable reports to management within the federal, enterprise, and health care sectors.

Historically, an enterprise managed its individual assets on multiple spreadsheets or with expensive and confusing applications resulting in imprecise records management, excess costs and incorrect financial reporting. The enterprise, agency, law enforcement and defense markets are seeking solutions to effectively manage the millions of assets within their supply chain and depots, to tie asset to users, and reconcile deployed assets to purchases. StrongTech’s applications include key-tools and features that our markets desire and easily integrate with legacy supply chain, human resource, inventory and other systems.


Management Team

Michael Patterson

CEO and Co-Founder

Michael Patterson is the CEO and president of StrongTech. Prior to forming StrongTech, Mr. Patterson was the founder and CEO of FedCel and SMobile Systems. FedCel was founded in 1999 and was the first and largest wireless (TEM) managed services company in the United States, counting Ford, GM, and Daimler Chrysler among their clients. Patterson started the Federal division of FedCel in 2002 and FedCel added the Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security as clients. FedCel was sold to Profitline in 2005.

Simultaneously, Patterson launched the country’s largest independent Symbian and Windows mobile security software company FB-4, in 2003. FB-4 developed and now markets the world’s most downloaded mobile security applications, including client-server anti-Virus, encryption, SMS, and firewall software. Patterson established relationships with almost every mobile OEM, operator, and distributor in the US, EMEA, and APAC markets. Patterson exited FB-4 (now Smobile Systems) in April 2006. Patterson is also the author of several patents in the anti-virus,mobile security, and physical search  fields. Leading his team of engineers, he has pioneered industry leading mobile and cloud computing applications.

Paul Marsolan

President of Technology and Co-Founder

Paul Marsolan, a graduate of The Ohio State University, has experience in the IT, Telecommunication, and Wireless industries incorporating both system development and implementation. Before joining StrongTech, Marsolan was Director of Management Information Systems for FedCel, a multi-million dollar wireless consulting firm, which was sold to Profitline in 2005.

Paul was an early shareholder of FB-4 (Smobile Systems). FB-4 developed and markets the world’s most downloaded mobile security applications. Including client-server anti-Virus, encryption, SMS, and firewall software. Marsolan established and managed operator relationships in India and China. He left FB-4 (now Smobile Systems) in April 2006 to begin StrongTech with Patterson.

Cody Boggs

Vice President of Operations and Integration

As VP of Operations & Integration, Mr. Boggs manages StrongTech production, customer sustainability, and production profitability. In addition, Boggs manages outside alliances and US Distribution partners.

Boggs received his Bachelor’s of Science in Digital Media and Information Technology from Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA, May 2005. To further his education and assist StrongTech’s plans for the future, Boggs recently completed a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a focus in Technology Management. While Boggs enjoys managing technology development initiatives, he is focusing on marketing strategies as well. Mr. Boggs understands in order to be an effective leader in the industry, understanding the technology means nothing without an effective strategy for reaching StrongTech’s customer base in the most efficient manner.
