The StrongTech EZ asset software provides the client a single system to manage all their asset deployment, monitoring, costing, work orders and tracking. It provides the client the ability to control the cost of IT assets with a single solution that tracks and manages hardware, software and related information throughout their life cycle. Specific benefits are:
- The Latest Generation RFID Technology – Scalable service oriented architecture that adapts to changing business requirements with a proven ability to jointly develop custom applications with customers and end users. Fixed installations or mobile versions available for implementation.
- Systems Integration – Software is quickly installed, generally in less than one hour with a separate laptop in a stand alone configuration and is easily integrated with customer or agency unique servers and equipment. Can also be hosted on existing servers or in a Cloud Based Environment.
- Cost Savings & Rapid Return on Investment – Reduces the time and cost, while also eliminating risk, associated with physical inventories, audits and compliance reviews. EZ Asset outperforms competition (see competitive analysis) and can be configured in less than one day and costs a fraction of IBM’s Maximo product and BDNA, considered the primary competition.
- Asset Visibility – Allows for clear visibility into actual inventory and actual location of critical assets. The real time asset visibility provides the user with tangible data to reduce the risk of over/under procurement of any type of critical asset. Reduces the efforts associated with scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
Ease of Installation and Configuration
Most vendors will charge several hundred thousand dollars and up to half a year to design and configure common asset tracking applications. EZAsset can deployed immediately from the web, or in hours on the customer networks. If custom requirements are needed, we can usually have them incorporated into EZAsset within weeks, not months. Our goal is to give customers a “low-pain” threshold for initial deployments so they can see how it can transform their business – leading to more services and of course recurring licenses and maintenance contracts.
Stand -alone, Networked, Cloud and Mobile Applications
EZAsset is as a web-based application designed to operate in a stand-alone remote platform, as part of a company network, or in distributed cloud/Internet environment, and can interact with most main-stream databases. Again, we are providing the customer with multiple paths to start with the ability to scale quickly to larger environments as they see how new types of asset tracking can save time and money.
Hardware Neutral
EZAsset is designed from the ground up to utilize open standards such as Low Level Read Protocols, enabling the software to interact with most major RFID and barcode vendor equipment. And for those that do not, we have a data collection layer that enables developers to design a quick interface to make use of the rest.
Mobile Applications
EZAsset has a plethora of mobile apps to take advantage of current and next generation mobile devices, smart phones and wireless environments. For most large stores and warehouses, this has a distinct impact on user-friendly operations and quicker return on investment. And our mobile enrollment applications can decrease the time to get assets and data into the system 75% faster than competing software.
Writing to the Tag
As we discussed, EZAsset can write on the fly to the RFID tag. But the application also writes to other fields available. The newer “Higgs 3” passive RFID tags have 512-bits of addressable memory in addition to the standard 96-bit identification field. This means that EZAsset can write other information to the tag such as users and distribution centers so that even if the network is down, that information can be retrieved. This one element has been a big issue with customers that have sensitive or high-value items to track.
